Unique LoJack Technology Helps Denver Police Recover Stolen Toyota Camry in Parking Garage

On September 13th, 2012 the startled owners of a 2003 Toyota Camry contacted the Denver Police Department to report that their vehicle had been stolen. The police verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers, which automatically activated the LoJack transponder concealed in the Toyota.
A short time later, the East Metro Auto Theft Task Force (EMATT) tracked the stolen Camry to a multi-level parking structure where it was found undamaged. The vehicle was returned to its extremely happy owners.
This recovery was made possible in part due to the fact that LoJack works in remote or enclosed areas such as parking garages, tunnels, wooded areas and shipping containers
