  • October 25, 2013

When this Fort Worth, TX resident noticed her Toyota Camry was missing from her apartment complex parking lot, she immediately contacted local law enforcement so they could activate her LoJack® system and find her car. In this case, police hit that jackpot by not only recovering the Camry but five other stolen vehicles as well.

On October 8th, 2013, the Toyota’s owner contacted the Fort Worth Police to report that her vehicle was stolen. Officers verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers, which automatically activated the LoJack device concealed in the Camry, which was installed at Lakeside Toyota in Metairie, LA.

A short while later, officers from the Fort Worth PD picked up the homing signals from the stolen car on the LoJack tracking computers installed in their patrol vehicles. The officers tracked the Toyota to a tow service storage yard. Inside the yard, officers found the Camry and five additional stolen vehicles. The Camry was recovered and soon returned to its appreciative owner.
